AI Content vs Human Content: Which Reigns in 2025?
What exactly is AI content, and why can’t Google easily accept it?
It is not only me, but also many aspiring bloggers are disturbed by this question right now since AI is everything you can see today. There’s so much noise around AI, and deservedly — because AI has made life easier in many respects. When it comes to writing content though, it just doesn't work like that. Why?
Why can’t we just copy and paste the literal piece written by A.I. tools? After all, it’s we who are prompting the likes of ChatGPT, DeepSeek and other AI systems. These tools only know how to write what we have trained them to write. To be fair, however, our content does not rank and is quickly recognized to be AI-generated by Google.
Many websites claim to help "humanise" AI content in such circumstances. However, this brings up another crucial question: in this fast-paced digital age, why should we rely on separate tools when we already use AI?
I looked for answers that could provide a clear explanation of this problem after investigating these questions. The lessons I learnt might be useful not only for me but also for a lot of new bloggers who are dealing with similar issues.
The lack of real-world experience in AI-written content is a significant problem. AI does not experience life in the same way as humans because it is a robot and not a human. As a result, it frequently reiterates terms and information that are already available online. Google's algorithm readily picks up on these recurring patterns, which is a major factor in the detection of AI content.
In contrast, a human is directly involved in situations. This enables authors to draw from their personal experiences, bolster their arguments with actual observations, and offer proof derived from their real-life experiences.
AI has a habit to be extremely careful, which I believe you have also noticed. AI ends up creating content for "everyone" in a world where thousands or even millions of people use it. Regardless of the prompt, it frequently uses the same words in various articles because its output has a very generic intent. Google can easily find it because of this.
On the other hand, different people have different ways of thinking. Every time someone writes about anything, they naturally create their own unique style. This not only enhances the content's beauty and originality but also allows readers to discover fresh viewpoints and experiences.
We are aware that AI is emotionless, just like a robot. It does a very good job of telling us only what it has been programmed or asked to tell. However, it lacks of human emotions, sentiments, and experiences. Google can tell right away that this content is robotic rather than human. When a human writes something, they are aware of the purpose, the intended audience, and the method. Google can quickly identify an article written by a human that outlines the benefits and downsides for the reader. Google consistently favours ranking new voices, which can only originate from actual people.
Predictable structures are detected by Google. You may have also noticed that AI regularly uses the same words in its headings and the majority of its initial words. However, when people talk about the same subject, each person has a different viewpoint, as well as a different intention and mode of expression. AI content differs from human content specifically because of this.
"Prioritizing Volume Over Value:
One should know that Google puts the most emphasis on quality over volume. For your own sake, pick any subject and express your own ideas. Google won't prevent you from getting help from AI, and your AI-generated content will get approved. However, that can be more challenging if you actually want it to rank. To illustrate: For an exam, one student puts in the hours studying, and the other one cheats. The one who cheats may get a better grade than the one studying. However, the one who puts in the effort will be more successful in life, and that won't be a reflection of that single exam. The one who works hard may get less in the end, but the success in life is his. The message is that hard work is the only way we'll be able to rank on Google. Hope Is that clear ?"
